A Night at the Banff Mountain Film Festival: Blood Road & Imagination

Imagination- Have you ever been that little kid sitting in the back seat of your parents’ car, wishing you were somewhere else? So you imagine a skier on the side of the road, your fingers commanding back flips and roof drops, improbable rail slides and huge airs. Well what if your imagination came to life?

Blood Road - Blood Road follows the journey of ultra-endurance mountain bike athlete Rebecca Rusch and her Vietnamese riding partner, Huyen Nguyen, as they pedal 1900 arduous kilometres along the infamous Ho Chi Minh Trail through the dense jungles of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Their goal: to reach the newly discovered crash site and final resting place of Rebecca’s father, a US Air Force pilot shot down over Laos some 40 years earlier.
